Dr. Dale Ogata, O.D.
Dr. Dale Ogata received his Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1984, and has been practicing at this present site for almost 30 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Portland Metropolitan Optometric Society, and the ALLDocs Association. Dr. Ogata takes great pride in patient satisfaction and specializes in fitting contact lens and comprehensive family eye care.
Dr. Ogata resides in Washington County with his two sons, daughter, and lovely wife Dr. Sharon Hirata, who retired from practicing Optometry in 2007.
Dr. Daniel Ogata, O.D.
Dr. Daniel Ogata received his Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Prior to that, he completed externships at American Lakes VA in Tacoma and multiple private practices scattered throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Daniel Ogata follows in the footsteps of his parents, Dr. Dale Ogata and Dr. Sharon Hirata, in becoming an optometrist. His father was proud to welcome him to join Ogata EyeCare, P.C. in 2015, where he will focus on primary care management, contact lenses, and ocular disease.
Dr. Daniel Ogata resides in Washington County, where he has spent the majority of his life. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, recreational sports, and rooting on his alma mater; the Oregon State Beavers.
Dr. Carla Avruskin, O.D.
Dr. Carla Avruskin received her Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1996. She completed a residency specializing in Contact Lenses at Pacific University and OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute, and has been practicing at Ogata EyeCare, P.C. since 1997. A self-described perfectionist, Dr. Avruskin is known for her diligence and patience, especially in challenging contact lens cases.
Dr. Avruskin grew up in New York, and misses living near the south shore Long Island beaches. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family, summertime camping, and photography. Dr. Avruskin resides in Washington County with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Elizabeth Davis, O.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Davis received her Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1996. She went on to complete her fellowship in Teaching at Pacific University, and has been practicing at Ogata EyeCare, P.C. since 1998. Dr. Davis also teaches courses in Anterior and Posterior Segment Ocular Disease at Pacific University College of Optometry, where she is known for her dedication and fairness.
Dr. Davis keeps busy caring for her Percheron and TB/Lipizzan horses on her five-acre farm, and loves the adventure of scuba diving, jet skiing, and weightlifting. She resides in Washington County with her husband.
Dr. Anna Nguyen, O.D.

Dr. Anna Nguyen received her Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She completed externships at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, David Grant USAF Medical Center, and the Portland VA Hospital. Dr. Nguyen joined Ogata EyeCare, P.C. in 2014, and provides comprehensive eye care along with ocular disease management.
Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Nguyen is an Oregon State alum who enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Oregon and its delectable food scene.. Outside of the optometry clinic, you can find Dr. Nguyen with her husband, daughter, and dog. She absolutely loves spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Brian Nguyen, O.D.
Dr. Brian Nguyen received his Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2016. He completed externships at the Southern Oregon VA, Chemewa IHS and multiple practices in Oregon where he focused on ocular disease management and vision therapy. Dr. Brian Nguyen joined Ogata EyeCare, P.C. in 2024 and provides comprehensive eye care along with contact lenses, ocular disease, and myopia control.
Born and raised in Salem, Oregon Dr. Brian Nguyen now resides in Clackamas county with his wife and two huskies. In his spare time, he likes to play tennis, golf and cheer on his favorite teams; Blazers, Timbers, and the Beavers.
